Once upon a time a little girl was born in a small village somewhere in Faline. She grew up in an average family, with an average amount of siblings, and average parents. She did average things as a child, and had average friends. Things were perfectly normal, and perfectly boring. Luckily for the little girl, she always had a strong immune system. This came in handy when a strange virus swept through the village, killing just about everyone. By the time it was done with the village, there was no one left. Except a certain little girl, who had been rather clever and had locked herself in a neighbor's with stolen books and candles for several months. When she became bored with playing prisoner, she ventured out to find her once bustling home turned into a ghost town. She liked the look of it, though the corpses began to stink after a while. So she watched and waited, until a caravan came through and she sob-storied her way into their hearts. As soon as they arrived at the nearest big city, she stole most of their valuables and headed out into the night. The next few years were spent spinning lies and learning how to slit throats. She preferred it very much to milking cows and cleaning her room, and quickly became very good at what she did. But soon that came to bore her as well, so she began to wander again. Her feet lead her through wilderness, towns, and eventually to Dakan. She found it to her liking, and quickly fell back into her old habits. She eventually befriended several fellows who happened to be in the assassin's guild, and she quickly found the place to be to her liking. And after a few years, she's already managed to make it into the third division. The assassin's guild is the one place she's found herself completely content for a long amount of time, and currently has no intention of leaving. |
Annabelle likes to be amused. She doesn't care what it is; having fun can range from building houses of cards to cutting open someone in the shape of a flower. She's not terribly fond of people, and finds most of them rude or incompetent. Most people she finds are better off dead, as they weren't even grateful for their life in the first place or were just rather nasty. Those that she does like she treasures greatly, so much so that she tends to treat them more like objects than people. But Annabelle, Israfel, does love her toys, and gets terribly upset when one of them gets broken. The girl is very fond of life in general, the pretty things it gives and the chances for fun she finds in it. Though she often seems childish, Annabelle is not stupid. She learns at frighteningly quick rate, and has a nearly photographic memory to boot. She's also rather artistic, and loves to make the things around her look prettier. Everything from dressing up herself to playing around with the people she kills before disposing of their bodies. She is especially likes growing things, and will keep insane amounts of flowers in whatever space she can get a hold of. Those that fail to please her are weeded out, as she has no use for things that don't make her happy. |
The young woman looks like a girl. She is extremely petite, grooms herself well, and dresses herself up in the latest fashions. Most people would think her a teenager, which she really doesn't mind. Her hair is a gingery color, which she always keeps long and almost obsessively clean. Her eyes are brown, and often seem rather far-off looking, as if Annabelle isn't completely there. Though she is built small, and would probably be one of the most unlikely person to work in her profession, over years she managed to make her small size and quickness very useful to her. |
